The “man” accused of killing toddler Mason Lee, Ryan Hodson is back behind bars after breaching his bail multiple times by contacting witnesses SHARE IF YOU THINK ACCUSED CHILD KILLERS SHOULD NEVER GET BAIL ! When Ryan Hodson was given bail we at FACAA said he should not have been released, we said anyone who was accused of murdering a toddler should never be set free unless they are acquitted. People commented that we were too harsh and "what about innocent until proven guilty" . Well in this case Ryan Hodson didn't wait too long until he proved us 100% correct. 21 days to be precise, We said he was remorseless, we said he would breach his parole and boy did he ! They have him on at least 5 counts of him contacting witnesses to the crime, why would you contact a witness in your trial unless it was to pervert the course of justice, is there another reason ? His release by Justice Debra Mullins three weeks ago prompted the Queensland Homicide Victims Support Group to write to the State Government “to seek changes in the rules and regulations around bail” – in particular expressing concern about the number of times offenders could apply for bail. Hodson was charged with manslaughter, along with Mason’s mother Anne Maree Lee and her partner William Andrew O’Sullivan, after the 22-month-old died from severe injuries in Caboolture, north of Brisbane, in June last year. The teen was initially granted Supreme Court bail last August but was put back behind bars this year for multiple breaches of bail, leading him to make another bid for freedom. New allegations emerged at last month’s court hearing that Hodson may have been there when the critical blow was inflicted to the toddler. In opposing bail three weeks ago, Crown Prosecutor Vicki Loury told the Brisbane Supreme Court that Hodson continued to reoffend and bail conditions were not enough. Vicky Loury had it right ! She deserves an apology from Hodson's legal team at least ! Justice Debra Mullins said Hodson had “some difficulty” in complying with bail conditions. “But no doubt the experience of 95 days in custody since his Supreme Court bail was revoked … as well as a better understanding of going through experiences of what happens when you (don’t) comply with terms of bail, will act as incentive for Mr Hodson to comply with the bail order,” she said at the time. She also said the fact Hodson would be under the supervision of the probation and parole office while on bail was “a relevant consideration”. She granted his release on a string of conditions, after ruling he had shown cause why he should be granted bail. Hodson was remanded in custody yesterday and the matter adjourned. Ryan Hodson and all those associated with this shocking crime DO NOT DESERVE TO BE RELEASED ! Lawsuit Claims DHS Placed Children In Home Of Alleged Sex Offender

FORT SMITH (KFSM) — Recent court documents filed against Arkansas Department of Human Services employees allege that the department placed several children in the home of a known sexual predator. The complaint was filed Monday (June 5) in Fort Smith.

The complaint alleges that DHS approved Clarence “Charlie” Garretson and his wife to be foster parents despite the fact that one year prior to the approval DHS had substantiated a report that Garretson had sexually assaulted two children at knifepoint.

According to the complaint, the DHS employees approved Garretson to be a foster parents despite knowledge of his history of sexual assault upon children, failed to conduct a proper background check prior to placing children in their care, failed to thoroughly investigate the fitness of the foster home, deliberately ignored repeated warnings and signs of abuse, failed to promptly investigate allegations of abuse and failed to promptly remove victims from the home after notice that children were being sexually abused.

The lawsuit claims that at least 18 of the 35 children placed in the home were sexually abused. DHS received several victim complaints about Garretson’s sexual abuse between 1998 and 2004 and failed to remove any children from the home, according to the complaint.

According to the complaint, DHS employees obtained knowledge on different occasions that children were being sexually assaulted in the home and no action was taken. Reports were not made to authorities or the child abuse hotline and the children were left in the home.

The Arkansas DHS revoked the Garretson’s foster status in 2004. In July 2014, Charlie took the 10-year-old daughter of his former foster child and victim on a road trip and raped her repeatedly. He was arrested in 2016 and pled guilty to multiple counts of interstate transportation of minors with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity.

Garretson was sentenced to life in prison on May 31.

A colleague asked me: "What would you do if you didn't know how or where your child was right now." I don't know where my eldest girl is and haven't for fourteen years. It's heartbreaking and especially with the mass corruption I would be a whole range of things (feelings). I'd be sad, scared, frustrated, yearning, feeling helpless, wondering why this is happening, not really caring much about life or the things I used to enjoy, quite reclusive but putting on a good front so nobody knew what was really going on, pissed at the fact that numerous laws were broken whilst the kidnap and court cases were taking place, beyond belief at the lack of reality that surrounds child protection and the family courts, withdrawing from most people I used to know because they either didn't believe what happened (until it happened to someone else they knew) and how unlawful it was, or just not wanting to continuously deal with those questions, angry that it's happening to thousands of people and angrier that it's been virtually impossible to make any headway in the last decade and a half, and last of all .. exhausted.

Foster children living in cold, squalid 'fire trap', Opposition leader alleges in Parliament

The Tasmanian Government is investigating complaints a family of foster children in the North West was forced to live in a "fire trap" house that had maggots in the fridge and no heating.

The State Opposition used the first Parliament Question Time of the year to air allegations against not-for-profit residential care provider Key Assets.

Opposition Leader Bryan Green asked Human Services Minister Jacquie Petrusma if she was aware of a complaint against Key Assets.

Mr. Green told Parliament the provider was being paid thousands of dollars by the Government but the money was not flowing to carers.

"Some carers are being paid as little as $35 a day for each child and being asked to live in intolerable circumstances," he said.

"In a letter of complaint written to you, the foster parents of six vulnerable siblings from one family tell you they were placed in a four-bedroom house in Burnie in a second story building with windows that wouldn't open — in other words a fire trap — and when they moved in, the fridge was infested with maggots.

"Why are these families being asked to cope with these unacceptable circumstances?"

'Allegations are being investigated'

Ms. Petrusma told Parliament she was made aware of the allegations on Friday.

"These are allegations that are being investigated by the department, and due process will be followed because we are not going to conduct a kangaroo court," she said.

"Any time any allegations in regards to any child, because the child's welfare is of upmost concern, are made they are taken very seriously."

Ms. Petrusma said Key Assets had 56 children in its care.

She was also asked whether the Government had severed financial ties with for-profit provider Safe Pathways.

All children in its care were removed earlier this year following allegations of neglect aired on Four Corners.

The Minister said a process was underway to end contracts with Safe Pathways, but it had not been finalized.

Siblings 'love' their 'mansion': Key Assets

In response to Mr. Green's allegations, Key Assets' Tasmanian director Caroline Brown said the organization had "not received any complaints of maggots in a fridge".

She denied there was a house with stuck windows that was a fire trap.

"In one house, which is a Housing Tasmania property, some of the upstairs windows are painted shut from previous tenants. However, the house has a fire escape which outweighs the temporarily closed windows, which are due to be fixed by Housing Tasmania," she said.

Ms. Brown said the family of foster children cited by Mr. Green "loved" their foster home, which has two heat pumps to keep it warm.

"The six siblings love the house and describe it as a mansion," she said.

"It has six bedrooms and a games room.

"The house also has two heating pumps, which can be expensive but Key Assets acknowledges this and pays the electricity bills," she said.

Ms. Brown said Key Assets prided itself on providing "quality support to our carers".

"The decision by the carers to no longer continue as foster carers were disappointing, but we know that foster care can be challenging and that it's not for everyone," she said.

"In saying that, it can also be the most rewarding thing you will ever do."

FIFTY education or child protection workers have been suspended with pay, a near tenfold rise since crimes including those of Families SA pedophile Shannon McCoole forced major reviews.

Assuming an annual average salary of $60,000, the cost to taxpayers this year will be $3 million.

The Public Service Association has told sirslackcat  some staff has been on forced leave for more than two years as investigations dragged on due to a lack of “leadership” to resolve them.

The union warns a joint failure of government agencies, including SA Police and Crown Law, is harming workers left in limbo, creating costs for taxpayers and worsening understaffing problems.

Freedom of Information documents obtained by the Opposition shows a total of 53 education and child development department staff were suspended in 2015-16, 50 of them with pay.

That compares with 39 overall suspensions the year before, 31 of which were paid.

Just 10 education and child development staff were suspended in 2013-14, six of them on pay.

Education and Child Development Minister Susan Close said the figures showed “better recording and management of critical incidents” since the Debelle Inquiry of 2013.

The State Government was also forced into a major review of hiring policies in 2014, after the arrest of McCoole for abusing children in his care and publishing pornography on the internet.

A subsequent royal commission forced the education and child protection super department to be split, and the union says it is “far too early to tell” if investigations will be sped up.

Opposition waste watch spokesman Sam Duluk said the Government should be alarmed.

“It should be a real concern for the minister that 50 people in her department are currently suspended on full pay,” he said.

This is my beautiful grandson that has been kidnapped by DHS for money. They are lying in court and I have proven they doctored a drug test to show that my daughter uses drugs when she doesn't. I know we are never going to see him again but I have to do something so I am doing this. It is at least better than the alternative. We miss him so much and we cry every day. He is my only grandson and my daughter's only child she has learned her lesson though she will never have another child. These people are evil and knowing they are paid by taxpayer money and the money from the illegal kidnappings makes want to never pay taxes again. The ones they can't dump off somewhere they put in foster care with child abusers, molesters, murderers and these poor children are left to suffer at the hands of these people all while they say they are doing what is in the best interest of the child. Too bad that the laws that apply to us as citizens don't apply to them. My poor grandchild God please forgive me for not being able to protect him.

Hi all sirslackcat here l am realy angry towards the way the Department of Human services protect little ones as they dont lay charges on the boyfriends of mothers who are violent toward another mans child as the child opens up and tells the farther of the violents and assults wich happen not on one accassion but on many accassion and even the mother gets in on the act of violents as the child has been involved on many violent out breaks by the mother as well were they broke windows and let the 13 month old child walk on the floor were he picked up broken glass and then there was many times on were the mother had out breaks of violents towards the farther the department told all of the above and still put the little boy back with this mother this department have a mind of there own destroying farthers who tell the truth and get made out to be mungrels this is true the farther does every thing rite weres the mother can take drugs and beat up on a child locking them in a room sleeping round going against court orders and also having the little boy around registerd sex offenders namely here farther who there is an order on him for another 8 years as this farther figure was raping his own daughters at the age of 3 months old not naming names but he also drove one of his daughters to suicide back in 2013 and now keeps a low profile around the rye victoria area just around the corner from a primary school and dhs dont no that this man and his daughter are meeting with the child as this child is in great danger and dhs do nothing about it as court orders are broken and dhs do nothing dhs you are responsible for these matters and are not doing there jobs as the mother is still on drugs and mixing with registerd sex offenders boy dhs need to investergate this one l think

as that's what this department is all about as they don't protect  a child they excite the problems and create the problems with their silly system that was invented 

back in the dark ages of the ninety seventies and imported their programs from the states and textbooks they work out of half of their child protection workers have no idea what a proper place for a child to be brought up and most of the child protection workers have never raised a child of their  own quite amazing 

how these so called child protection workers can walk in to calm house and destroy one's life with false and misleading evidence in a court of law and judges are just as bad for letting this happen, judges have got to be made accountable 

in the events of DHS with their false and misleading information

 the whole child court system in Australia need to be torn apart and redesigned

to suit the Australia way   of life and the law, not the USA way as  this is how it's worked out once in the court system in Australia they call it the circuit
